Demand Servicing

The most basic form of vehicle management Riders offers is Demand Servicing.

Customers can bring vehicles to Riders when there is a problem. Riders’ highly trained technicians will ensure that your vehicle is serviced to the highest possible level. However, because this work is unexpected, Riders’ response will be governed by the availability of replacement parts.

Because of this, Riders does not recommend this system for servicing vehicles. If vehicles are not serviced regularly, then they are much more liable to fail unexpectedly. This is economically inefficient, as your organisation will not be able to budget properly as you will not be able to predict when failures happen and money will need to be spent. Riders therefore recommends organisations use our Transport Resource Management programme or intervall servicing.
