Day of Champions 2009 is on Thursday 23rd July, at Donington Park.
On sale from Monday 6th April
Tickets for Day of Champions 2009 will go on sale on Monday 6th April at 9am.
Riders are pleased to announce that for the third year we have frozen the ticket prices for Day of Champions, and with free children’s tickets, it is the perfect place to take the family during the summer holiday.
In 2009 this will be the last chance to see inside the paddock at Donington Park before MotoGP moves to Silverstone in 2010.

Those that don’t want to buy online can call the Day of Champions ticket-line on 08702 242 960 from 9am on Monday 6th April. The ticket-line will be open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
Prices
Paddock and pit-lane tickets: £25 – ticket holders can see behind-the-scenes of MotoGP with access to the paddock and pit-lane. These tickets are limited and are sure to sell out quickly, so don't miss out. As well as giving fans one last chance to see inside Donington Park before MotoGP leaves for Silverstone in 2010, ticket holders will be able to enjoy all the entertainment throughout the day, including the famous MotoGP auction, with all the stars of MotoGP live on stage.
General access ticket: £15 – ticket holders get access to all of the entertainment in the entertainmenat area, on the main stage and at the auction. Stage show includes quizzes, rider interviews and much more. (THESE TICKETS DO NOT ENTITLE ACCESS TO THE PADDOCK AND PIT-LANE.)
Children go free! – tickets for children 15 and under are free, so Day of Champions 2009 is the perfect place to take the family in the summer holidays. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Proof of age may be requested at the gate. For paddock access children must be accompanied by an adult with a valid paddock/pitlane ticket.
For insurance reasons, under-16s are not allowed to take part in the two laps of the track, but they may take part in the ride-in itself for a fee of £5 to cover costs.
Ride-in ticket: £50 – Former British Superbike Champion, Niall Mackenzie, has confirmed that he will be leading the ride-in to Donington. The ticket includes breakfast at the Victoria pub in Coalville before heading to Donington. It concludes with hundreds of bikers taking to the Donington tarmac for two parade laps of the famous track. (See terms and conditions below)
Tickets for the ride-in also include access to the paddock and the pit-lane so ticket holders will be able to see behind the scenes of MotoGP. They will also be able to enjoy all the entertainment on the infield, including the famous Day of Champions auction, where the MotoGP riders will appear on stage and help to auction off their memorabilia.
Ride-in pillion: £35 – (As above).
Gates open at 10am and the paddock will be open from 12pm.Important ride-in information:
- There will be a strictly enforced noise pollution test for the two laps of the track. Bikes which are louder than 98db will NOT be allowed on the track.
- Pillion riders must be 16 years of age or over to take part in the two laps of the track.
- You must wear full protective riding gear to take part: helmet, gloves, boots and full leathers or a jacket and trouser set which zips together.
Please note that this is NOT a track day! The two laps will be undertaken as parade laps behind a safety car.Important ticket information:
- All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- To comply with health and safety rules some queuing at the entrance gate and for entry to paddock/pitlane will be unavoidable. The organisers request your patience in this matter and will endeavour to keep queuing time to a minimum.
- Please note that Riders for Health reserve the right to change any or all elements of the advertised/intended programme at any time and without prior notice.
- Animals are not admitted to the circuit.
- No video cameras are permitted in the paddock or pitlane.
- Motorsport can be dangerous. In spite of all reasonable precautions having been taken by the organisers, accidents are possible. Please be aware that you are present at Day of Champions at your own risk and the organisers cannot be responsible for death or injury, however it is caused.
- Please comply with all notices and all instructions given by marshals.
