Run the Brighton marathon and save lives in Africa
27 November 2009
The days may be getting cold and darker, but it is never too early to think about how you can support Riders for Health in 2010. Now is the perfect time to sign up for the Brighton Marathon and help Riders for Health get health workers on the road in Africa in the new year.
The 2010 Brighton Marathon is a brand new event and has already proved to be very popular, already selling out of places. Riders have a number of guaranteed places and would love for you to be a part of this.
If you are interested in taking part in a marathon and would like to be able to run for Riders then please get in touch by e-mailing edunn@riders.org.
The event takes place on Sunday 18th April at 9am, and will take in this wonderful Regency sea-side town, as well as fantastic coastal views.
Riders for Health will support you every step of the way by providing:
• Fundraising ideas so that you can boost your fundraising target
• Sponsorship forms and leaflets
• A t-shirt to wear on the day and during training
By signing up to one of Riders’ places on the marathon you will also receive:
• Charity runner hospitality at the start and finish areas, which includes food and drink, extra toilets and dedicated baggage drop off
• A wristband to allow you entry to exclusive charity areas
• A finisher certificate, medal, t-shirt and goody bag
