Work for Riders: M&E coordinator

The role of M&E coordinator presents a challenging and exciting opportunity to support the demonstration and measurement of Riders’ impact as the organisation fast-expands its size, coverage and reach.

The key functions of the role are to assist Riders’ M&E manager in:

filling-forms.jpg• Development and embedding of effective monitoring and evaluation protocols, practices and tools across the whole organisation so that meaningful information can be fed into management plans, strategy, decision-making processes, reports, needs/ impact assessments, programme-related growth and also institutional learning and accountability.
• Liaising with and contributing to the support of in-country M&E officers in Riders’ African programmes. This will include taking an overview of the M&E needs for specific programmes, supporting the use and development of Riders’ monitoring tools, coordinating multi-partner M&E activities, supporting in-country M&E staff to evaluate the data gathered, inputting analysis to the evaluation process, and disseminating results among stakeholders where and when appropriate.
• Communicating programme-specific M&E information around all areas of the organisation to ensure that it is as easy to access and use for all staff as possible.
• Working with information that comes from the field programmes to ensure that it is accurate and consistent and provides Riders with comprehensive, in-depth and meaningful knowledge.

Required skills and experience:

The successful candidate will possess excellent written, IT and analytical skills, including the ability to competently analyse data. A passion and impetus for making a difference to the world’s severest problems and an interest in global development are of central importance to all Riders for Health’s employees. A willingness to learn and be part of a team are also essential.
