Riders and Ebay
When selling your unwanted items on eBay, you can now choose to donate a percentage of the profit to Riders for Health through the MissionFish scheme, which is run by eBay to allow sellers and buyers to make donations to a listed charity.
Each of the charities that applies to eBay to be listed is scrutinised and approved so that both buyers and sellers can be confident that their money is going to deserving projects.
When you list an item on eBay you can now select Riders for Health from the list of charities. By registering with Missionfish you will be able to select an amount of the selling price to be donated to Riders. When the item is sold the buyer pays you as normal and you make a payment to MissionFish, who will pass it on as a donation to Riders for Health.
When an item is linked to a charitable donation in this way its listing on eBay will have an 'eBay for Charity' icon and the name of the charity next to its listing so that buyers know exactly where their money is going.
