Riders for Health
Riders can manage any type, make or model of vehicle effectively so that it does not break down and so that it performs optimally for its useful intended mechanical life. Motorcycles are the most cost-effective and appropriate form of transport for rural health care delivery but when building a comprehensive/national-scale health care delivery platform we advocate a mixed fleet of motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles. The same technical system underpins the management of the entire mixed fleet.
