Riders for Health
Riders resource office in the USA has two full time members of staff. Riders resource office in the UK has 26 full time members of staff. The vast majority of Riders’ staff, over 230 of them, work in our field programs and are nationals of the counties in which they work.
In Africa the Riders for Health's teams are made up entirely of nationals of the countries in which we work. It is thanks to their hard work and dedication that Riders is able to help health workers across Africa to reach nearly 11 million people with regular healthcare.

Andrea is the joint founder and CEO of Riders for Health.

Widely regarded as the most exciting and most charismatic grand prix motorcycle racer of his generation, Randy Mamola was a consistent challenger for the 500cc world championship title throughout the 1980s and early 1990s.
Global Strategy Director
As Global Strategy Director, Lakshmi is focusing on building relationships with large-scale investors and advancing Riders' impact.
Development Director
Lisa joined Riders for Health in 2008, opening the national office in Chicago.
Operations Director
Ngwarati was programme director for Riders' programme in Zimbabwe before transferring to the UK resource centre in January 2008. Ngwarati is now overseeing all of our programmes and working with our teams to replicate Riders’ programmes.
Replications director (Zambia)
Alfred first became involved with Riders for Health in 1996. He is now in charge of replicating our programmes in new countries and overseeing the Zambia programme.
Gambia Programme Director
Therese joined Riders in 2001 after retiring from the civil service, becoming Riders’ Gambia programme director. Therese has guided the development of a nationwide programme, establishing a management team to run the programme.
Lesotho Programme Director
Mahali qualified as a motorcycle rider under Riders’ first nationwide motorcycle fleet programme in Lesotho in 1991. She is now programme director for Lesotho.
Zimbabwe Programme Director
Anold is working with the established team in Zimbabwe, putting in management structures and systems, in order to increase the number of vehicles we manage.
Nigeria Programme Director
A qualified pharmacist, Effiom has observed the health care system in Nigeria first hand. His strong management team is leading the growth of our Nigerian programme.
Kenya Programme Director
Irene joined Riders in 2010. As a business graduate Irene has been guiding and growing our Kenyan programme.
Replications Manager
As part of the replications team, Lloyd works with Alfred Gonga to establish Riders' programmes in new countries.
Malawi Programme Manager
As an experienced NGO programme manager, Alexander is working on developing the partnership landscape in Malawi to establish our programme there.
