Volunteer
Volunteer for Riders for Health and help us to reach men, women and children across Africa with life-saving health care.
You can support Riders through volunteering for one of our events or starting one of your own!
Riders for Health depends on volunteers in many ways to help achieve our work in Africa. Opportunities to assist Riders include: fundraising, organising events, spreading awareness, and lending a helping hand at Riders’ events.
Not only will you have the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives across Africa, you will also pick up new skills, have lots of fun, and make friends for life!
Please note that we do not offer any volunteering opportunities in any of our programmes in Africa. All of the people Riders train and employ in our programmes are nationals of that country. By building local capacity it means the skills developed with us remain in the community for future generations.
To register your interest as a volunteer, please email dleonard@riders.org for more information. Alternatively if you are in the USA or Canada, please email Jake on jfuchs@riders.org.

“I started volunteering in 2004 – I heard about the work Riders does from Randy Mamola and I wanted to be involved in some way. I've met so many lovely people at events and I contribute towards something that makes a huge difference to those who make the difference in Africa.” Nick Fountain
