Volunteer
Why volunteer? People are inspired to get involved for different reasons:
- Volunteering gives you the opportunity to make a difference in other people’s lives
- It gives you the chance to meet people you may not normally meet in your day-to-day life.
- To learn about Riders for Health and pick up new skills
- Volunteering is fun, exciting and fulfilling
- Raise funds for our life-saving work in Africa

Riders for Health depends on volunteers and supporters in many ways including raising funds, organising events, raising awareness and providing support at motorcycling events to help achieve our work in Africa.
'Volunteering for Riders combines my two biggest passions - motorbikes and helping others. I feel extremely privileged to be in the position to offer my time for such a worthy cause and have fun too!'
Steph Marshall - Riders volunteer
Riders for Health gains a huge amount of benefits from the contributions of its volunteers. These benefits include:
- Enabling Riders for Health to reach a wider audience, through local communities, schools, groups and individuals. This means increased opportunities for fundraising and raising awareness of the importance of reliable transport for healthcare delivery in Africa
- Bringing new skills, knowledge, passion and commitment to the organisation
- Inspire others to get involved
