February and March is quiet on the events front so we are encouraging our volunteers to help sell tickets for this year’s raffle draw to friends, family and work colleagues. This year the top prize is a brand new Ducati 848. Volunteers can get hold of tickets by contacting us at volunteer@riders.org.
Riders Jersey help to raise funds for Riders by selling raffle tickets on the island. ‘We can be seen selling raffle tickets at the many varied motor sport events held by the Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Clubs each year,’ explains Mick Rolland, the group leader. ‘We also visit the Albert Quay, where the local biking community meet up every Sunday morning.’
In addition to selling raffle tickets, Riders Jersey organise monthly ride outs in the summer months and take a yearly pilgrimage to Donington Park to assist at Day of Champions and man the helmet bus over the GP weekend.
